These are the beginning of the Triads II

[26]
Three powerful swineherds of the Island of Britain
Pryderi son of Pwyll, Head of Annwfn as he tended the swine of Pendaran Dyfed his foster-father. And these were the seven pigs that Pwyll Head of Annwfn brought to give to Pendaran Dyfed his foster-father and they were kept at Glyn Cuch in emlyn. And this was why he was called the Powerful Swineherd: because none was able to deceive or to force him.
And the second: Drystan son of Tallwch for the swwine of March son of Meirchyawn whilst the swineherd went as a messenger to Essyllt. Arthur and MArch and Cai and Bedwyr were there, all four. But they did not succeed in getting as much as a single piglet from him: not from froce nor from deceit nor by theft.
And the third: Coll son of Colollfrewy tending the pigs of Dallwyr Dallben at the Vale of Dallwyr in Cornwall. And one of the swine was pregnant — Henwen was her name. And it was prophecied that the Island of Britain would be the worse for her womb-burden. then Arthur assembled the host of the Island of Britain and went out to seek her destruction. And then she set out to bring forth. And at the Promontory of Austin in Cornwall she entered the sea, with the Powerful Swineherd after her. And in a wheat field in Gwent she birthed a grain of wheat and a bee. And from that day unto this the wheat field of Gwent is the best place for wheat and for bees. And at Llonion in Penfro (Pembroke) she birthed a grain of barley and a grain of wheat and for this reason the barley of Llinon is proverbial. And at the slope of Cyferthwch in Arfon she brought forth a wolf cub and an eagle. The wolf was given to Mergaed and the eagle to Breat a prince of the North and they were both the worse for them. And at Llanfair in Arfon beneath the Black Rock she birthed a kitten and the Powerful Swineherd cast it from the rock into the sea. And the sons of Palug fostered it in Môn to their own harm.

And that was Palug's cat and it was one of the three cheif oppressions of Môn, nurtured therein. And the second was Daronwy and the third Edwin, king of Lloegr.
