Ingredients:
2 turnips, peeled and sliced into rings
Winter Vegetable Casserole with Cider and Pears Preparation:Method:Parboil all the vegetables then toss to mix with the pears and scatter in the base of an ovenproof dish. Season well and pour the cider and vinegar over the top. Meanwhile mix together the breadcrumbs, cheese and parsley. Sprinkle over the vegetables to form a topping. Dot the dish with the butter then place in an oven pre-heated to 190°C and bake for 50 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender and the topping is golden. |
