Ingredients:
330g white chocolate chips
White Chocolate Coconut Nests Preparation:Method:Line a baking tray with greaseproof (waxed) paper and trace three 9cm circles on this. Meanwhile, melt the chocolate chips in the top of a bain-marie (double boiler) over a pan of simmering water. Add the vegetable oil and stir until smooth. Add the noodles and the coconuts and stir until thoroughly combined. Take off the heat and set aside to cool slightly. When the mixture has cooled enough for you to handle it shape into six nests, using the circles you've drawn as a template. Transfer to the refrigerator and chill for about 30 minutes, or until firm. When ready to serve fill with jelly beans or mini eggs. These make excellent cake toppings or gifts. You can also make small nests as cake decorations, just draw 3cm circles as a basis. |
