This is the recipe for a traditional Turkish chocolate sauce that, typically, is served as a topping for cakes. Ingredients:
6 tbsp cocoa powder
Turkish Chocolate Sauce Preparation:Method:Combine the cocoa powder, salt and boiling water to a pan and mix to a smooth paste. Place the pan on medium heat and add the butter and sugar. Cook, stirring constantly, until the butter melts. Now continue cooking for 8 minutes on medium-low heat, stirring constantly. Take off the heat and stir-in the iced water then set aside to cool before serving. |
