Togo Bananas Recipe

Origin: Togo      Period: Traditional

Ingredients:

25g butter
6 bananas, peeled and finely chopped
pinch of turmeric

Togo Bananas Preparation:


Method:

Melt the butter in a flame-proof dish and add the turmeric. Stir over gentle heat for 1 minute then add the bananas and turn to coat with the butter. Cover tightly with aluminium foil. Place in the centre of an oven pre-heated to 180°C and cook for 30 minutes, or until the bananas are cooked through.

As a guide 1 US cup of flour = 4 1/2 oz = 140g (this applies to breadcrumbs, ground almonds etc
