4 tilapia filets
Tilapia Fillets in Chilli Lime Breadcrumbs Preparation:Method:Season the fish thoroughly with salt and black pepper. Scatter the flour over a plate, add the eggs to a bowl then in another bowl combine the lime zest, chilli powder, garlic powder, onion powder, breadcrumbs and thyme. Coat the fish fillets in flour then dip in the egg before coating thoroughly in the breadcrumb mix. Shake the fillets gently to remove any excess then heat the oil in a large non-stick pan. Add the fish fillets, in a single layer, then fry until golden on one side. Turn over and cook on the other side. When the fish are deeply golden and cooked through transfer to a serving palate. Season with a little salt then drizzle liberally with the lime juice and serve. |
