Sweet Cicely Ice Cream Recipe

Origin: America      Period: Modern

Ingredients

1l lightly-packed sweet cicely stems and leaves
750g vanilla pudding mix
1.5l milk
300ml sweetened condensed milk
1 tbsp vanilla extract

Sweet Cicely Ice Cream Preparation:


Method:

Mix everything but the sweet cicely stems together in a large bow. Take 300ml of the mixture and add to a food processor along with the sweet cicely. Render to a fine paste then strain through a fine sieve and return the resultant liquid the bowl with the ice cream mix and stir to combine thoroughly.

Transfer to an ice cream maker and form into ice cream, following the manufacturers' instructions.
