Ingredients
400g cooked beans (any of navy, black, black-eyed, cannelloni, kidney, pinto etc)
Sow Thistle and Beans Soup Preparation:Method:Place all the ingredients in a pan along with 800ml water. Bring to a boil, reduce to a simmer and cook for about 25 minutes, covered. Serve immediately in soup bowls. You can also add a roux or cornflour to this so that you can serve it as a sauce over rice or pasta. |
