Ingredients
3 eggs, separated
Salzburg Spoon Sweets Preparation:Method:Add the egg whites to a clean and dry bowl and whip until they form soft peaks then add the sugar a little at a time, whipping well after each addition. Whip the egg whites until stiff then set aside. Whisk the egg yolks until pale and creamy then whisk in the flour until smooth. Gently fold the egg yolk mixture through the egg whites. Melt the butter in a pan then fold through the egg mixture. Grease a baking tray then heap tablespoons of the mixture on this. Transfer to an oven pre-heated to 180°C and bake for about 7 minutes. At this point turn the sweets over and sprinkle with grated chocolate. Finish baking for about 6 minutes more. Serve hot, accompanied with jam. |
