Raisin Sauce For Ham Recipe

Origin: European      Period: Traditional

Ingredients

280g raisins
2 tsp prepared mustard
1/2 tsp salt
1 tbsp (or more) vinegar
2 tbsp cornflour (cornstarch)

Raisin Sauce For Ham Preparation:


Method:

Simmer the raisins in in just enough water to cover for 1 hour then add the mustard, sugar, salt and vinegar. Meanwhile, dissolve the cornflour in a small amount of cold water and add to the mustard mixture. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Serve hot with baked ham.
