Ingredients:
180ml honey
Pineapple Bread Preparation:Method:Combine the honey and shortening. Add the egg and beat-in well. Sift the flour and measure out 100g. Dredge the nuts in this. Sift the remaining flour with the baking powder and salt. Add the flour to the honey mixture, alternating with the bran, pineapple juice and nuts. Pour into a well-greased cake tin that has been greased and lined with wax paper. Place in an oven pre-heated to 180°C and bake for about 75 minutes. Store for 24 hours to mature before serving. |
