Meatloaf with Indian Seasonings Recipe

Origin: Fusion      Period: Modern

Ingredients:

3 slices soft bread
240ml milk
1 egg
450g minced beef
115g minced pork
115g minced veal
40g onion, minced
1¼ tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp mustard powder
1/4 tsp sage
1/4 tsp celery salt
1/4 tsp ground fenugreek seeds
1 tsp garam masala
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

Meatloaf with Indian Seasonings Preparation:


Method:

Tear the bread and drop in a large mixing bowl. Add the milk and egg and mix then add the meat and seasonings. Mix thoroughly. Press tightly into a loaf tin and place in a shallow baking pan. Place in an oven pre-heated to 180°C and bake for 1 hour. Allow to cool a little, tip out of the tin, cut and serve.
