Ingredients:
120g plain flour
Irish Tea Cake II Preparation:Method:Cream together the eggs and sugar in a bowl until pale and creamy then sift together the flour and baking powder before folding into the egg mix. Now stir in the milk. Meanwhile, melt the butter in a small meat (roasting) tin set in an oven pre-heated to 200°C. Swirl to coat then pour the batter into the hot tin. Return to the oven and bake for about 20 minutes. Remove from the oven and allow to cool very slightly. Slice and butter whilst still hot and serve immediately. |
