Ingredients
360g fresh mushrooms, silced
Hunters' Mushroom Soup Preparation:Method:Heat the oil in a pan and use to fry the mushrooms, onion and bacon for about 10 minutes, or until well browned. Sprinkle the flour over the top then stir to combine and cook for 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Add the stock and stir to until smooth. Bring to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes then stir-in the cream and season with salt and black pepper. Return to a simmer and cook for a further 5 minutes then ladle into soup bowls, garnish with chopped parsley and serve. |
