(Hot Cornflour Gruel) Recipe

Origin: Nigeria      Period: Traditional

Ingredients:

450g ogi (wet cornflour)
1.2l water

Hot Eko
(Hot Cornflour Gruel) Preparation:


Method:

Bring the water to the boil, mix the ogi to a smooth paste with a little warm water in a pot, then pour the boiling water on top until it thickens and changes colour. Stir and cook for 3 minutes then sweeten to taste and serve with Akara (black-eyed pea fritters).
