For this dish you will need a large, fresh horse mushroom (mushrooms of about 12m diameter are ideal). Ingredients:
4 large horse mushrooms
Horse Mushroom Feast Preparation:Method:Clean the mushrooms and remove the stalks. Add a knob of butter where the stalk used to be. Scatter the shredded ham over the mushroom followed by the spring onions, sliced tomato and celery. Top with a sprinkling of the grated cheese. Place in the microwave for 2 minutes to heat through then transfer under a hot grill for about 3 or 4 minutes, or until the cheese has melted and is bubbling. Transfer to a plate, garnish with the watercress and a generous twist or two of black pepper. |
