Ingredients:
2kg mackerel
Grilled Mackerel Kofta Preparation:Method:Clean and gut the mackerel then fillet and remove the skins and pin bones. Mince the fish meat in a blender or by passing through a food mill. Turn the fish meat into a bowl and combine with the fat, chopped parsley, onions, spices and salt. Use your hands to knead the mixture until the ingredients are thoroughly combined and form a smooth paste. Shape the mixture into balls and flatten gently with your hands. Cook on a barbecue (or hot grill [broiler]) until nicely browned and cooked through. Serve immediately with a yoghurt and mint dipping sauce (or a hot pepper sauce). |
