Ingredients:
1 bread dough pizza base
Ginger-chicken Pizza Preparation:Method:Turn the dough onto a lightly-floured work surface and roll into a 25cm diameter circle. Transfer to a greased baking tray then using your thumb and forefinger roll the edges of the pastry to form a rim. Cover and allow place in a warm spot to raise for 10 minutes. Heat the oil in a frying pan over medium heat and use to cook the garlic, ginger and spring onions until the onions are softened (about 5 minutes). Meanwhile, combine the soy sauce with the chicken in a bowl and pour the ginger and onion mixture over the top. Rinse the tomatoes, core them and cut crosswise into 3 to 5mm thick slices. Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the top of the pizza then scatter the chicken and onion mixture over the top. Sprinkle with the cheese then arrange the tomato pieces as evenly as possible over the surface. Place in an oven pre-heated to 200°C and bake for about 18 minutes, or until the edges of the base are golden and crisp. Serve immediately. |
