(Lebanese Cheese Pizza) Recipe

Origin: Lebanon      Period: Traditional

Ingredients:

1 Mankoushe (Lebanese Pizza) dough
100g Lebanese cheese (Akawe, Akawi), grated
20g butter

Gebne Mankoushe
(Lebanese Cheese Pizza) Preparation:


Method:

Scatter the cheese over the top of the prepared Mankoushe dough then place a knob of butter in the centre of the pizza. Place the dough in an oven pre-heated to 200°C and bake for about 10 to 15 minutes, or until the dough is cooked and crispy around the edge. Cut into wedges and serve.
