Fat Hen Spread Recipe

Origin: Britain      Period: Modern

Ingredients

2 garlic cloves, peeled
1 small red onion, peeled
350g fat hen leaves
1 ripe avocado, peeled and pitted
180g walnuts
180g pitted olives, drained
3 tbsp hedge mustard leaves or seed pods
2 tsp miso
1 tbsp chilli paste

Fat Hen Spread Preparation:


Method:

Add the onion and garlic to a food processor and chop. Now add all the remaining ingredients and process until finely chopped. This spread is best used immediately, but can be storej in a sealed jar in the fridge for a few days.
