Easy Easter Praline Cookies Recipe

Origin: America      Period: Traditional

Ingredients:

100g Butter
300g brown sugar
1 Egg
210g Flour
1 ts Vanilla extract
140g Chopped pecan nuts

Easy Easter Praline Cookies Preparation:


Method:

Cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the egg and beat thoroughly to combine. Finally, stir-in the flour, vanilla and pecan nuts. Mix well by hand untl the mixture comes together as a dough then shape into walnut-sized balls. Place these on a lightly-greased baking tray and flatten to discs about 3mm thick.

When done, transfer to an oven pre-heated to 175°C and bake for about 10 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from the oven then transfer to a wire rack and allow to cool and harden before serving. These also keep well if stored in an air-tight jar.
