Draniki are classic Belarusian potato pancakes that are a staple of Belarusian cuisine. Ingredients
12 medium potatoes
Draniki Preparation:Method:Peel the potatoes and grate into a bowl then add the flour and stir in the milk and egg. Season with salt then stir to combine. Meanwhile, heat oil in a large frying pan and add the potato mixture by the tablespoon. Spread out with the back of a spoon to form small individual pancakes (no more than 10cm in diameter). Cook for about 4 minutes (or until nicely crisped and brown) then flip over and cook on the other side. These should be served hot, accompanied by sour cream. |
