Dill Cucumbers Recipe

Origin: America      Period: Traditional

Ingredients

180ml white wine vinegar
1 tbsp sugar
1 1/2 tsp dried dill weed
750g cucumbers, peeled and sliced thinly
200g onions, sliced thinly

Dill Cucumbers Preparation:


Method:

Whisk together the vinegar, sugar and dill in a large bowl, until the sugar has dissolved. Add the cucumbers and onions and stir to coat in the dressing. Cover with clingfilm (plastic wrap) and refrigerate for alt least 6 hours (preferably overnight). Serve as an accompaniment or use as a basis for a salad.
