Ingredients:
1 ready-cooked (or tinned) ham (about 1.4kg)
Crusty Pineapple Ham Preparation:Method:Place the ham on a shallow roasting pan. Whisk together the mustard and cloves with the pineapple juice then brush over the ham and pour the remainder over the top. Transfer the meat to an oven pre-heated to 175°C and bake for 40 minutes, spooning the spiced pineapple juice over the meat every 10 minutes. Remove from the oven then top with the pineapple rings (halve them first) then arrange the raw biscuits over the pineapple in overlapping rows. Return to the oven and bake for a further 20 minutes, or until the biscuits are richly browned. Cut into slices and serve. |
