Crockpot Spicy Chicken and Noodles Recipe

Origin: America      Period: Traditional

Ingredients:

1.5kg chicken, cut into serving pieces
240ml chicken stock
400ml water
240g egg noodles
60ml soy sauce
1/2 tsp red chilli flakes (or to taste)
1/4 tsp allspice
salt and black pepper, to taste

Crockpot Spicy Chicken and Noodles Preparation:


Method:

Place the chicken in the base of a large crockpot. Season liberally with the salt and black pepper. Combine the stock, water, soy sauce, chilli and allspice then season with black pepper. Pour over the chicken, cover and cook on low for between 8 and 10 hours. Remove the chicken from the stock then stir-in the noodles. Remove the meat from the chicken bones and chop the meat before returning to the crockpot. Turn the heat to high, cover and cook for about 40 minutes, stirring occasionally. Serve hot.
