IngredientsThis rather unusual side dish makes an excellent accompaniment to baked, roast or barbecued chicken.
250g dry spinach noodles (the green ones)
Crockpot Creamy Spinach Noodle Casserole Preparation:Method:Cook the noodles in a pan of lightly-salted boiling water until just tender (about 8 minutes) then drain and rinse with cold water. Toss to coat with the vegetable oil and set aside. In a large bowl, combine the sour cream and flour, mixing well, then stir-in the cottage cheese, spring onions, Worcestershire sauce, hot pepper sauce and the garlic salt. Fold the noodles into the mix. Generously grease the inside of a slow cooker then pour the noodle mixture inside. Cover and cook on high for about 120 minutes. Serve hot with chicken. |
