Crockpot Chicken and Pasta Recipe

Origin: America      Period: Traditional

Ingredients:

1 tbsp olive oil
450g skinless chicken breasts, cubed
400ml Cream of Chicken Soup
120ml water
200g pasta (eg fusili 'spirals'), cooked
200g frozen mixed vegetables
salt and black pepper
Parmesan cheese, freshly grated

Crockpot Chicken and Pasta Preparation:


Method:

Heat the oil in a pan, season the chicken well and cook in the oil until browned all over. Add all the remaining ingredients (except the pasta and vegetables) to a crockpot then layer the chicken on top, cover and cook on low for about 5 hours. Now add the pasta and vergetables, stir to combine and cook for a further hour, or until the vegetables are tender. Serve hot, sprinkled with freshly-grated Parmesan cheese.
