Crockpot Cantonese Dinner Recipe

Origin: America      Period: Traditional

Ingredients:

675g pork steak, about 1.5cm thick, cut into strips
2 tbsp oil
1 onion, sliced
1 green bell pepper, cut into thin stirps
120g mushrooms, sliced
240g tomato purée
3 tbsp brown sugar
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 1/ tbsp vinegar
1 1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp Worcestershire sauce

Crockpot Cantonese Dinner Preparation:


Method:

Heat the oil in a frying pan and use to brown the pork. Transfer to a plate lined with paper towels and drain. In a crockpot combine the pork with all the remaining ingredients. Cover and cook on low for between 6 to 8 hours. Serve hot over steamed rice.
