Ingredients:
240g Kielbasa sausage (or similar smoked sausage) cut into 6mm slices
Crockpot Cajun Sausage and Rice Preparation:Method:Combine the sausage, tomatoes, onion, green bell pepper, celery, stock cubes, steak sauce, bay leaves, sugar and hot pepper sauce in a crockpot. Cover and cook on low for about 8 hours. Remove the bay leaves at this point and stir-in the rice along with 120ml water. Allow to cook for an additional 25 miutes (or until the rice is tender). Stir-in the parsley and serve immediately. |
