Crockpot Cabbage and Chilli Soup Recipe

Origin: Fusion      Period: Modern

Ingredients:

350g coarsely-chopped cabbage
150g chopped onions
720ml tomato juice
350ml Piquant tomato soup
300g cooked kidney beans (tinned is fine)
1 tsp chilli powder
2 tsp Italian Seasoning

Crockpot Cabbage and Chilli Soup Preparation:


Method:

Combine the cabbage, onion, tomato juice and tomato soup in a slow cooker (crockpot). Add the kidney beans, chilli powder and Italian seasonings then stir thoroughly to combine. Cover and cook on low for between 6 and 8 hours. Mix well and serve in warmed soup bowls.
