Crockpot Brown Rice and Chicken Recipe

Origin: America      Period: Traditional

Ingredients:

200g cooked chicken, diced
2 onions, chopped
2 celery sticks, chopped
300g cooked brown rice
60ml dry white wine
480ml chicken stock
120g slivered almonds, lightly toasted

Crockpot Brown Rice and Chicken Preparation:


Method:

Combine all the ingredients (except the almonds) in your slow cooker (stockpot). Cover and cook on low for between 6 and 8 hours. Spoon the mixture onto a serving plate and serve topped with the almonds.
