Crockpot Beef Stroganoff Recipe

Origin: America      Period: Traditional

Ingredients:

900g rump steak (round steak), sliced thinly across the grain
450g fresh mushrooms, sliced
1 onion, siced
1/4 tsp thyme
180ml dry sherry
180ml beef stock
3/4 tsp mustard powder
1/4 tsp garlic salt
360ml sour cream
65g plain flour

Crockpot Beef Stroganoff Preparation:


Method:

Combine all the ingredients in a crockpot, stir well to combine then cook on low for about 8 hours.

Mix the sour cream and flour to a smooth paste then add to the crockpot. Turn the heat to high and cook for 40 minutes more. Serve on a bed of rice or noodles.
