Crockpot Aztec Beans Recipe

Origin: America      Period: Traditional

Ingredients:

450g dried black beans
480ml salsa

Crockpot Aztec Beans Preparation:


Method:

Rinse the beans then place in a large bowl, cover with water and set aside to soak over night. The following day rinse the beans. Add the salsa to a crockpot and stir-in the beans. Add enough water so that the beans are just covered then cover and cook on low for about 10 hours, or until the beans are tender. Serve hot with rice.
