Cranberry and Apple Turkey Breast Recipe

Origin: America      Period: Traditional

Ingredients:

2 tbsp melted butter
120ml chicken stock
1 apple, cored and chopped
100g onion, chopped
1 celery stick, chopped
240ml cranberry sauce
3/4 tsp Italian Seasoning
200gTurkey stuffing
1.7kg (about) turkey breast cutlets

Cranberry and Apple Turkey Breast Preparation:


Method:

Combine the butter, chicken stock, apple, onion, celery, cranberry sauce, Italian seasoning and stuffing in a bowl. Place 3 tbsp of this stuffing mix on each turkey cutlet then roll up and tie with butcher's twine. Place this in a lightly-buttered slow cooker (crockpot). Cover and cook on low for 8 hours (or high for 4 hours). Serve with roast potatoes, gravy and green vegetables.
