This is a classic French red wine marinade typically used for game when the meat cannot be marinated in a standard marinade for a period of days. Ingredients:
3 tbsp olive oil
Cooked Red Wine Marinade Preparation:Method:Add the oil to a pan and when hot stir-in the vegetables, herbs and spices. Fry for about 4 minutes then add the brandy, vinegar and wine. Bring to a simmer, cover and cook for about 20 minutes. Take off the heat and allow to cool completely before using to marinate the meat. |
