Chocolate Fruit Pizza Preparation:Method:Prepare the Pizza Dolce Pizza Base as directed in the recipe then roll into circles about 6mm thick. Crimp the edges with your thumb and forefinger to raise them then place on baking trays, cover and set aside to rise for 10 minutes in a warm place whilst you prepare the toppings. Crack the egg into a clean bowl and beat until foaming then blend-in the flour and sugars. Add the butter and beat once more to combine before stirring-in the chocolate chips and nuts. Spread the chocolate filling evenly over the dough then place in an oven pre-heated to 190°C and bake for about 25–30 minutes, or until the crust has puffed up and is golden and the filling is set and a golden brown colour. Remove from the baking tray and transfer to a wire rack to cool. When cold whip the cream until stiff and spread over the top of the pizza. Arrange fresh fruit on the top and serve. |
