Ingredients
80g unsalted butter, melted
Chocolate Banoffi Pie Preparation:Method:First caramelize the condensed milk by piercing the top and placing in a saucepan of boiling water so that the water reaches 3/4 of the way up the sides of the can. Boil for 2 hours, topping the water up as needed. Mix the melted butter with the crushed biscuits. Mix the chocolate, cream and golden syrup in a small saucepan and stir-in the caramelized condensed milk. Beat until smooth. Place the biscuits and butter mix in the bottom of a greased pie tin then pour the chocolate filling over the top. Refrigerate to set. Just before serving slice-up the bananas and arrange over the top of the chocolate. |
