This is a Hawaiian appetizer that makes good use of wasabi as a flavouring. Ingredients
120ml soy sauce
Chicken Pupus Preparation:Method:Whisk all the ingredients (except the chicken) together. Place the chicken pieces in the marinade and leave in the fridge for about 4 hours (stir the marinade after 2 hours). Pre-heat a grill to medium-high heat then remove the chicken from the marinade and shake-off any excess liquid. Place ono a lightly-oiled grill rack and cook for some 6 minutes on each side. Continue cooking until the chicken is completely cooked through. Remove this 'pupu' chicken to a serving dish and insert a cocktail stick in each piece of meat. Serve immediately. |
