This is a traditional dish of pizza bread pieces filled with a beef filling and baked in a yoghurt and milk sauce. Ingredients:
630g dough pizza base
Cantik Preparation:Method:Turn the dough onto a lightly-floured work surface and roll into a sausage shape about 4cm thick. Cut into 24 equal pieces and set aside under a clean tea towel. Place all the ingredients for the filling in a bowl, season to taste and knead until all the ingredients are thoroughly combined. Open up the dough rounds lengthways and place a tablespoon of the filling mixture inside each one. Close the dough tightly around the filling, pinching to seal, then place them in a baking dish (about 2l is the right size). Whisk all the sauce ingredients together and pour over the filled dough pieces. Place in an oven pre-heated to 175°C and bake for about 40 minutes, or until the dough is a light golden brown. Serve hot, accompanied by ayran. |
