Ingredients:
1 tinned ham (about 2.2kg)
California Glazed Ham Preparation:Method:Place the ham in a shallow, metal, baking pan and score the top with a diamond pattern. Insert the whole cloves in the centre of each diamond then pour the beer over the ham. Pre-heat your grill (broiler) on low then set the meat 20cm from the heat and cook for 45 minutes, basting serveral times with the beer during the cooking process. Combine the orange marmalade, soy sauce and mustard in a small bowl. Brush evenly over the ham and return to the grill. Cook, basting several times with the pan drippings, for 45 minutes longer, or until richly glazed. Allow to rest, covered, for 5 minutes then slice and serve. |
