Cajun-style Baked Fish Recipe

Origin: Cajun      Period: Traditional

Ingredients:

4 tsp vegetable oil
1 tbsp paprika
2 tsp thyme leaves
1 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
450g fish fillets
60g green bell pepper, finely Julienned

Cajun-style Baked Fish Preparation:


Method:

Combine the vegetable oil, paprika, thyme, onion powder, garlic powder, salt and cayenne pepper together in a small bowl. Spread the mixture evenly on one side of each fish filet then placed the fillets on a lightly-oiled baking sheet with the seasoned side uppermost. Bake in an oven pre-heated to 200°C until the fish flakes easily when tested with a fork (about 10 minutes).

Garnish with the strips of green pepper and serve.
