Cajun Salmon Steaks Recipe

Origin: Cajun      Period: Traditional

Ingredients:

2 x 200g salmon steaks (about 2.5cm thick)
1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp lemon juice
1/4 tsp Creole Seasoning
1/2 green bell pepper, stemmed, de-seeded and sliced
1/2 red bell pepper, stemmed, de-seeded and sliced

Cajun Salmon Steaks Preparation:


Method:

Arrange the steaks side by side (but pointing in opposite directions) in a baking dish. Rub the top of each steak with 1/4 tsp Worcestershire sauce and 1/4 tsp lemon juice before sprinkling the peppers over the fish.

Place in an oven pre-heated to 180°C and cook until the fish is nearly opaque (about 15 minutes). When the fish is done (flakes easily with a fork) take out of the oven and serve.
