Cajun Dynamite Dust Recipe

Origin: Cajun      Period: Traditional

Ingredients

75g paprika
6 tbsp sea salt
40g coarsely-ground black pepper
3 tbsp basil
3 tbsp filé powder
2 tbsp garlic powder
2 tbsp mustard powder
2 tbsp onion powder
2 tbsp dried oregano
2 tbsp cayenne pepper
2 tbsp white pepper
2 tbsp dried thyme

Cajun Dynamite Dust Preparation:

Method:

Mix all the ingredients together and store in an air-tight container. The mixture will keep for at least 3 months.

Use as a general seasoning for Cajun food or as a rub for fish before grilling.
