(Cucumber and Yoghurt Salad) Recipe

Origin: Turkey      Period: Traditional

Ingredients

3 medium cucumbers, peeled and coarsely grated
4 sprigs of dill, finely chopped
750ml yoghurt
2 tsp salt
250ml water
2 tbsp extra-vrigin olive oil
3 garlic cloves, finely chopped

(Cucumber and Yoghurt Salad) Preparation:


Method:

Whisk together the yoghurt, salt, water and garlic in a bowl then add the cucumbers and stir to combine. Pour the mixture into individual serving dishes and drizzle with olive oil before sprinkling a little dill over the top. Serve immediately.
