300g Buttermilk Baking Mix
Buttermilk Baking Mix Biscuits Preparation:Method:Combine the baking mix and the milk in a bowl and stir wit ha fork until the mixture comes together as a soft dough. Beat the dough well then knead until smooth and elastic (the dough will become less sticky as you knead it). Turn onto a lightly-floured work surface and roll out about 12mm thick. Cut into rounds with a floured pastry cutter (about 6cm in diameter). Transfer the rounds to lightly-greased baking tray and when full place in an oven pre-heated to 180);C. Bake for around 15 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden. Allow to cool on a baking tray for 5 minutes then carefully transfer to a wire rack to cool completely. |
