Ingredients
250g peanut butter
Butterfingers Preparation:Method:Combine the syrup, sugar and water in a pan bring to a boil then cook until a confectioner's thermometer reads 155°C. Take off the heat then warm the peanut butter in a microwave and stir into the syrup mix, ensuring the mixture is thoroughly blended. Pour into a well greased baking tin (about 20cm square). Score the mixture into bar shapes then set aside to cool completely. When completely cold and set cut out the bar shapes then dip each one in melted chocolate and set on greaseproof (waxed) paper to harden. Store in an air-tight tin and serve within a week. |
