'Cobnut' is the common name for the wild hazelnut which is a very versatile nut. This recipe is one of the simplest way to prepare them and makes an excellent snack or even a starter. Ingredients
240g shelled Cobnuts
Buttered Cobnuts Preparation:Method:Melt the butter in pan, add the nuts and season to taste. Stir-fry until the nuts are lightly browned and cooked through. Serve immediately. For an extra kick add a generous pinch or chilli flakes. |
