Ingredients
400g wintercress greens (known as Creecy Greens in North America)
Boiled Wintercress Greens Preparation:Method:Place the wintercress leaves in a pan along with enough water to cover and 1 tsp salt. Bring to a boil, cover and cook for 5 minutes. Drain the water return the leaves to the pot along with the herbs, spices and a good twist of black pepper. Bring to a boil, reduce to a simmer, cover and cook for 30 minutes then drain and serve immediately. |
