Ingredients:For the spice paste:
4-6 dried chillies soaked in water for 15 mins You will also need:
750g fish steaks, about 1cm thick
Boatman's Curry Preparation:Method:Put all the paste ingredients in a blender, add about 100ml water and blend to a smooth paste. Transfer this to a heavy-bottomed pan and add a further 100ml of water Heat over a medium heat and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir and allow to cook for 2-3 minutes then add the fish. Keep simmering for 10-15 minutes until the fish is cooked. |
