Ingredients
1 medium onion, sliced
Blue Bayou Jambalaya Preparation:Method:Fry the onion, green pepper, garlic and rice in melted butter in a large frying pan until the onion is translucent. Add the catsup and all the remaining ingredients, except the prawns. Simmer for 25–30 minutes, or until the rice is tender. Add the prawns and continue to simmer, tossing the mixture gently with a fork until the prawns are pink and tender (about 5 minutes). Serve with rice. |
